INTERNAL GASTROINTESTINAL PARASITES

We definitely recognize that it is best to treat G.I parasitism after a sure diagnosis. That is usually done by microscopic examination of the stool. However, some parasites are actually expelled from the body on occasion in the stool and are very visible.

We routinely deworm all puppies who are involved in their puppy vaccinations.

As well, we offer a dosage of an oral hookworm and roundworm medication for your adult dog.

If you have visually seen any parasite in your pet's stool, then please do not hesitate to tell us about that. We may be able to intervene at that point in many cases.

Please note that some GI parasites can easily be transferred from infected dogs or cats to people (especially children) simply by handling them on any fecal contaminated area and later eating with uncleaned hands.
